Photo Contest
Rules & Regulations
By signing below, you understand and agree to the following rules:
1. The contest is open to all photographers.
2. Photos must be taken at the Flying A in historic downtown Truckee, CA.
Entries much be received by September 16, 2012. Photographers can submit
as many photographs as desired. Winners will be announced by October 31,
2012 on the Truckee River Associates, Inc. website,
www.truckeeriverassociates.com, Truckee River Associates, Inc. Facebook
page (www.facebook.com/TruckeeRiverAssociatesInc) and 101.5 TRKE
radio. Winners will also be sent an email within the following week.
3. Photos that qualify must include the ‘Flying A’ property at 10091 Donner
Pass Road, Truckee, CA 96161 and be family friendly.
4. Photographs must be original digital photographs taken by the entrant. All
digital files must be 5 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG or JPG format,
and must be unedited.
5. Submit Photo’s at Truckee River Associates, Inc. Faceboook page
www.facebook.com/TruckeeRiverAssociates. Then get your friends and
family to ‘like’ your image. Photos may also be submitted at Truckee River
Associates, Inc. website www.truckeeriverassociates.com. Contest
entrants, by their entry, certify that the submitted photographs are an
original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not
infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of
privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and
that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph,
and that it does not contain material that may be deemed objectionable or
inappropriate in any way.
6. Previously published photos, or parts thereof, are not eligible.
7. All photos must be accompanied by a caption.
8. Judges will make selections based on the quality, composition, content,
originality, creativity, mass appeal, and reproductive quality. Judges’
decisions are final and in their sole and absolute discretion.
9. This offer is void where prohibited by law. By entering the contest, all
entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Truckee River
Associates, Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages,
or injuries related in any way to participation.
10. Truckee River Associates, Inc. reserves the right to publish all entries in
digital and print format on its website or any of its publications. By
entering, entrants grant Truckee River Associates, Inc. an irrevocable
license to publish images in digital and print format in any and all Truckee
River Associates, Inc. web sites and publications, in perpetuity.
Photographers retain all other rights to entered images.
Prices:
- 1st Prize photograph will be selected. The winning photograph will receive a
$500.00 gas card from Truckee’s J & L Food Mart – Shell Gas. - two runner-up photographs will be selected. The 2nd place winning
photograph will receive a $250.00 gas card from Truckee’s J & L Food
Mart – Shell Gas. 3rd place winning photograph will receive a $150.00
gas card from Truckee’s J & L Food Mart – Shell Gas. - The photographers of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd wining photographs will be
featured on the website of Truckee River Associates, Inc. and
www.facebook.com/TruckeeRiverAssociatesInc

Summer Photo Release Form
I hereby grant Truckee River Associates, Inc. permission to use my likeness in photograph(s)/videos in any and all of it’s publications and in any and all other media, whether now known or hereafter existing, controlled by Truckee River Associates, Inc. in perpetuity, and for other use by the Company. I will make no monetary or other claim against Truckee River Associates, Inc. for the use of the photograph(s)/video. Contest entrants, by their entry, certify that the submitted photographs are an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph, and that it does not contain material that may be deemed objectionable or inappropriate in any way.
